Those special places .. and how we remember them.

When thinking about my blog this morning, I was feeling the need to do something different.  Knowing that I had some pretty cool pictures from towns that I have visited (including my own city of Rochester, NY),  I thought .... this might be an interesting blog! So, here goes  ....  unusual "things" we see in different towns.


This horse drawn carriage is just a stature at a B&B in Angola NY.  That horse sure looks real!

And this guy graces the footstep of a shop in Angola, NY.

Love the headgear on this guy in Olean, NY.

                          This beautiful patriotic horse welcomes you to the City of Rochester,  NY!

The next 5 are also from Rochester NY, in a very artsy area of town.

The mannequins could be found on the street of Chicago, Illinois.  They were so creative!

This is a painting from a side of a horse in Bennington, Vermont. Such detail and so beautifully done.

And, how about these two pictures, taken in Charlotte, North Carolina.  I have always loved there. I can't help but always be amazed at the fact that they were made out of brick.

The story here is .... make sure you look around towns ... there are bound to be some pretty interesting displays of creativity!  And, it will likely  remain fondly in your mind as a special moment in time.
