Telling the story!

Port of Rochester, Rochester, New York
I so want to tell the story; but, I don't know the story!

You know there is one ... well, more than one. I would guess that this beautiful vessel has enough stories to fill a book.

I would love to sit and hear the stories from even this one brave soul. What's it like to do this in the high seas? Why do you do this? I can only imagine the passion that this crew has for doing this.

I'm completely lost in the detail. I zoom in and zoom out.

Eventually .... I have to walk away. The story is still hanging in the breeze. Perhaps the beauty of it all is that I will always carry the wonderment in my head. I can do with it what I want ... create what I think it might be ... search it out on the web .... or, just let it be.

For now, I will love the untold story.  I will be thankful for this peaceful, exciting moment in time.
My mind and soul are full.

The art of display ...

Hurd Orchard, Holley ,NY
Many trips to Hurd Orchard have filled my memory banks with the excitement of their flower displays.

Most often, the trips are a fall excursion because I know  that their fall arrangements will be breathtaking.  But, I was curious .... what could spring bring.

Simply put, it brought more still life drama. As I walked into the barn and my eyes began to adjust to the interior lighting, my brain started to explode. The arrangements and lighting created the most breathtaking  display ... of spring flowers.
Simply put, I couldn't get enough of the creation.

What marvelous way to spend a few hours. Thank you to the artist whose hands created so much beauty.
