So my memories trail off. I'm with my Dad, it's after supper. We wander down to the dock and start up the engine that will take us up the lake for and hour of fishing and just being together.  These are the views we shared. We sometime sat in silence.  Then we would talk ... but I don't remember about what.

However, the memory stirs my soul.

Without realizing it, I keep those memories around me ... for comfort.  This is my Dad's fish basket, hanging on the back of one of my doors. It's filled with the first flowers my grand-daughter gave me.

 This whole journey started with this picture this morning ... which hangs near the fish basket. 

My heart is happy today.

The beauty of the freshly fallen snow is lost on me today.

I prefer to post pictures of what my garden will look like in 6 weeks!
