Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia!

Travel an hour out of Halifax and you will experience a fishing village that will forever travel with you in your heart.

Approaching this quaint little town, you start to feel an underlying energy. Curiosity begins to surface.

What is this about?!

My feet were about crazy to get off the tour bus and start exploring. Rather ... start feeling the history and the deep serenity of this little town. A little town of 40 permanent residents.

The bones of this little fishing village are evident in every twist and turn.

It's as if a story is being told ... silently .. but, clearly.

Even the same picture, up close or from a distance, tells a story - the same but different.

Meandering around the little village, you get the distinct feeling that the story isn't done. It continues to unfold.  It builds on itself. And, I will humbly take a piece of it with me.  I will take it with me to wonder ... years down the road ... is it the same or different.

Quebec City, Canada... oh my heart!

From the first view of this beautiful city, I knew I was in trouble! My feet were dancing, my camera was shaking and my brain was saying ... get off the boat!

Majestically sitting on the top of the hill, is one of the most photographed hotels, Chateau Frontenac. (that deserves it's own blog)

So, off we go to explore ... every twist and turn revealing another delight.

From the planters at all the shop front doors .. to the art work/galleries along the streets ... this city vibrates with energy.

The square in Old Quebec City had me spinning in circles. I could feel the pulse in the city center.

But, there was more to explore than just the square. The side streets beg you to come further.
But wait, somehow that jacket is now hanging in my closet! I love supporting the local economy!

The city has 2 spectacular murals. Need I really say more?

Back to Old Quebec City Center .... ahhh ..... love!

Yes, that is our ship that you see between the buildings.

Back to the ship ... to gaze upon .... the city that stole my heart.
 Love!
