Honey Bees

 Humm .... casually driving thru the countryside in Wayne County, my head spins around and my thought is ... what's this!

 Ahh ..... the honey bees hard at work, tucked into the side of all the beautiful apple orchards.

 Thoughts .... your houses are so colorful and I can see by the swarms that you are home and very busy!

I will happily admire you from a distance!

No need to show me the inside of your home .... I'm sure that it is the most delectable golden color, sweet of smell, thick in texture.  Come to think of it, it's the same color as the inside of my house. Perhaps I was a honey bee in a past life!  Hope so ... it's a pretty important job.

The dance itself appears rather simple ... circle round and round my "partner".

 Yet, the reality is, it's very complex.

 In the detail, is the story.

With each step, there is a kiss of nature

My dance ... without music, but filled with purpose.

We all have a purpose and we all have a dance ... dance like there's no tomorrow.

As the kitchen is often the heart of a house, the lighthouse is the heart of a bay. 

 A quiet beckoning pulses from its structure.

 Venture to me ... let me cast the shadows to shade you from the sun, let me guide the pilots on their journey ...

 

Circle me .... wonder about my story.

 As you step away from me, look back .... for my watchful eye is always there.

As the sun sets and I bask in the glory of its rays ...  ... I stand tall and strong.

My beacon is my life light ...

  Even me, who rarely finds myself drawn to a car show, couldn't resist getting caught up in the spirit of things.

Wow .... holy moly .... how many hours were spent loving these cars!

These pictures hang as a sequence on one of my walls.

They make me want to ... write a book ... make a movie ... 

They are what I want my life to be ... well used up, full of depth,  so many stories to tell that they all can't be told.  Sit back and just let these pictures settle in .... yup, that's one hell of a good ride!
