The Lake House ....

Ahhh .... home for the last time....

Walking through these double doors, up to the registration desk,  was always part of the Wawbeek experience. The Wawbeek packet was always filled with menus, trails, newsletters ...maps. While registering, I loved to poke around in the store.  I was lucky enough on this trip to pick up the very last coffee mug with the Lake House painted on it.  That cup now holds a place of honor as the cup to guard for coffee.

The Cosmos were always graceful and the little statues in the garden were just the right detail.

The main living room of the lake house had a full sized fireplace that spanned both floors of the House.  The furniture was wonderfully comfy and the greatest place to sit in front of the fire looking through the log book of guests and their comments as well as all the picture books of the Adirondack lodges.

I always loved this tic-tac-toe game with pieces that were animals.

The rooms in this House were so lovely ... living room with couches, comfy bed, private deck .. fireplace.  Heaven  ..... yes, heaven!

And, the view, was heavenly ..

... one of my most favorite places .....
