.... to my last day at the Wawbeek. I will always love this image of the wooden snowman that graced the beginning of the trail that brought us down to the lake. 
And, the Carriage House holds special memories ... of many Adirondack nights ....and the "peepers" that could be heard all night long.
I really loved the cabins too ... as we were able to bring our little dog with us.
The walk down to the beach and the boats always promised happy times.
A final time to sit in the Adirondack chairs, to think back over of all the great and wonderful times! It makes me happy to think that many other people also share similar memories of this great Adirondack Inn!
The last drive out was sad. But, I was very happy to know that I was able to experience and enjoy so much of this beautiful spot. I hope you have also enjoyed it. My Dad would say, "The Adirondacks were God's gift". I think he was right!!
