This collection on butterflies is representative of Aruba, Pennsylvania and Webster, New York. They are some of my favorite pictures; ones that I am compelled to share so that you can appreciate the intricate design and beauty of these delicate creatures.
The colors and patterns are the same but different ....
... the colors are fresh and combined in unique ways.
The "paintbrush" of nature must be fine and broad, colorful but neutral, defined yet blurred. How to mix those colors to produce just the right intensity and hue .... the master artist at work!
When I was taking this picture, I couldn't decide whether to look through the view finder (the zoom is great for those really close looks) or look with the naked eye. I kept shooting frames ....I had to capture it's beauty .... someway!
Here, I was walking through ...
... my backyard, pleased with my choice ...
of a new butterfly bush that within one day had many visitors.
But, here is my favorite shot, taken in the backyard of my dear cousin and his wife. It's only appropriate that this shot would be one with great beauty and feeling! Perhaps these are natures angels.
