Longwood Gardens ....let's take another walk ..

 

... through the du Pont Estate, just outside of Philadelphia, PA.  The beautifully elegant hanging flowers welcome you to the estate. Draped across a tall wooden structure, they just promise ... more to come.

Paths are lined with magnificent trees ...Dogwood blossoms everywhere!

Fountains are filled with dancing waters.  Check out their "shoes" ... 

I am always drawn to stone work; maybe because I can't understand it's creation. How do you envision what a block of stone is to become?  Then,how do you repeat it? Gifted visionaries. 

Flowers, flowers ... everywhere. Oh to follow that gardener. I want to learn!

The children's garden is filled with surprises.
