Dragons ... of color!

 Snapdragons of course! 

For those who know me, you know how color gets me going.  So, this to me is like a rock concert!

My finger couldn't click fast enough.....

My eyes couldn't blink fast enough ........

                                   My brain was screaming  .... go for it!

Because this was all taking place in a shopping area of Williamsburg, Virginia, I was trying to act composed.

But, I was in trouble!

I wanted every angle ....

                                                                Every darn combination ....

                                 Every chance to show off this little part of the world that had me so excited!

 I was about ready to sit down on the sidewalk to get an even more interesting angle; but, I was already drawing enough attention.

The most exciting part of all was .... people started to pull out their cameras and take shots!!!! Yes!!!  That is how I measure success!!!  SHOOT AND THEY WILL FOLLOW!!!!

A step out on the wild side!

     A few years back, while walking through Philly on the way to the flower show, I should have had a hunch of the beautiful colors I was about to see. Check out those cupcakes! 

                                                     And so it began  ... such creativity!

                                       No words needed. The exhibits spoke for themselves!
                                                                I loved it!

Ferns ..

    ..as the story unfolds ......

                                                             ... I find it intriguing ....

                                            ... to watch the graceful slow dance ....

                                                                         of the fern!  

Ta Da!

This and that .... and primroses

I love blue .... and especially love it in a garden.  It's gentle and delicate.

Now mix it up with a little pink ..... nice combo.

And, then there are primroses  .... a blue  .... which I have never seen before! So very pretty.

Then there is the purity of white ... white anything .... it's cleanses the palette.

S & T ... you have such a lovely backyard!

Makes you just want to take off your shoes ...

....... and play! 

Walking through Longwood Gardens  and the water displays made me want to take off my shoes, run through the puddles and splash my hands in the spray.

This waterfall was just calling to have someone wade into the cool and inviting pool and then climb up the rocks on the side ...... sure was in my thoughts!

And this picture above just made me laugh ....

Here I just wanted to run between the fountains and then jump into the pools .. back and forth .....

This feature was fun and different.  I was certain that there were frogs somewhere in the mix. And, how about the water flowing out of the figurines mouth.

But this was the most inciting of all!!! I mean really, you expect us not to want to go up and down those stairs! What fun it must have been to bring this thought to reality.  Again, I can imagine the DuPont children having a great time just being children ... doing what children do .... and no child can ever resist water!


Do you think anyone would have really noticed me  doing all those crazy dreams?! I think they would have been jealous!
