Rocks!

Vermont
I love rocks!  And, anyone who travels with me knows that I am all about bringing them back to my yard. Unfortunately, some I have to leave behind but I'm all about trying.  :)

Lake McDonald, Glacier National Park, Montana

There are as many stories to tell as there are rocks.
Silverton, Colorado
It might be I happened upon the perfect picture, turned around and found a great shot ... but it's all about rocks. And, I snap away ... to add to my collection.

Oregon
Here's a perfect example of not being able to bring back a rock. If you look closely, you'll notice it's all one big rock .... carved, shaved, grooved ...breathtaking.
Lake Placid, NY

So, here's the collection just outside my front door. Stories, stories and more stories. I am reminded of many happy memories as I walk by.

Waitsfield , Vermont

Some stories involve escapades with other people. And, we still talk about the experience years later.

And, wouldn't you know that the fairies have moved some of my rocks onto their house in my garden. I'm happy to share because ... I know the stories and like the rocks, they will withstand the test of time.  Or, at least as long as my memories lasts.
