Everyone seems to love the yellow Adirondack chairs.
As you have seen in past blogs, the Wawbeek was one of my most favorite places. I treasure those memories ... for many reasons.
During one of our last visits, Dave, the cook, and I were talking about how to take a piece of the Wawbeek back home ... a rock .... a leaf ....just something small. All of the sudden, he said ... seeds!
Although the seeds weren't ready to be harvested, he promised to send me some .... and so the package arrived some time later. I felt like I had gold in my hands.
I thought about where would be best to scatter them ... that was a no-brainer ..... around the Adirondack chairs of course! And, low and behold, this magnificent garden emerged!
In the midst of this garden is another little story ..... the bird bath fountain. AGT, this one is because of you! In one of those magazines you created (which I cherish), was the suggested use of a birdbath fountain that might not hold water any longer. It sure holds dirt and flowers .... and is oh so pretty.
Miles .... you said that the blog is a way to keep the Wawbeek alive .....I am trying in many different ways. This way keeps coming back year after year ... and I love sharing it!
Hope you enjoyed!
This is my 100th post! I'm committed to 365... if the interest continues. So far, so good!
