Follow-up on buttons

So, the sequence goes something like this. 

Over breakfast this morning, my granddaughter and I discuss buttons. 

I just have to ask the question,' "What do you think we should do with them?"  And, the answer .... "Well Nana, the fairies would love them and we need to put them in the fairy garden in the spring!"

Then we played with the buttons. A little girl  dressed up in her Disney dress, a box of old buttons, and a happy easy conversation between Nana and this insightful child.

  I see that fairy house out in the yard and I wonder ...

When spring comes this year, will she remember? I really have little doubt.
