You can always tell when I have a picture that somehow moves me. Those shots find their way to my blog as a single picture ... or, perhaps with one other shot.

This one is one of those pictures ... that I wander through ...loving the feel.

Dinner time frenzy takes on a new meaning in the winter fowl department.

Every bird for himself!

Duck  (and I don't mean the bird)  ... they are coming in for a landing!

Yup ... end of day ... and I'm glad I'm not a duck ... or a swan .. or a seagull!

But, I know they would do just fine without me.

I'm glad they stopped by. It got me out of the kitchen ... and cooking.

They always bring an element of excitement with their presence.

Rave reviews ..... for the Pultneyville Grill!

OK, OK, so it's just me doing the rave reviews but let me tell you something!

I love this place!

I love the setting, atmosphere, food, owners, staff ....

I even love the shiny real silverware reflecting the beautiful holiday adornments!

!

It's welcoming, cozy ... meticulously presented.

 

And, the nutcracker display is a must see.

I've just spent an hour or more, feeling wonderfully full of delicious food, and I have enjoyed easy conversation. Night has fallen, the snow is blanketing the grounds and the lake can be heard in the background.

I'm wondering where the swans are ... and their now grown babies. I'm guessing they are not far from their summer nest near the channel. 

It's just all so lovely.

Rock Piles

 For those of you that don't know this side of me, I love rocks!

And, I'm happiest when I can have my camera and piles of rocks!

 You can imagine what happens in my head when I am offered the opportunity to take what  I want! Back up the truck!

Alaska ... revisited

Wandering thru my pictures of some years back, I can't help but to continue to marvel at the beauty of this state.

The color of the glaciers is something that I have never been able to find again.

What an amazing state.
