Thoughts of the Adirondacks always lead me to my love of the White Birch.
Regardless of the setting, the weather, the distance, their beautiful is evident.
They seem to command the anchoring of a picture.

This past weekend, a young girl bought my framed photo of this birch. I was so surprised by her comment to her mother. In a very soft voice she turned to her mom and said, "Aunt xxx is really going to love the texture of this picture".
I think she said it all.
