I often wonder ... when my days are done, and I move on, what will there be that might tell a bit of my "story". Will it be my pictures, art work, gardens? It something to ponder along the way. Anyway, I have to share a gift from my Mom. I remember her crocheting this piece, remember it draped on a drop leaf table (that I still have) .... I remember how quietly proud she was as she put away her crochet needle and yarn bag as the project was done.
It's a beautiful piece. I don't know how she did it with her arthritic hands; it must have been a labor of love. So, the love gets passed on and I look at it and think ... what an amazing woman! For those who knew her, she's remembered for her soft voice, her wonderful listening ear, her smile, her love and that most wonderful laugh.
Thanks for such a wonderful remembrance Mom!
