Flaming Reds!

Flaming Reds .... that's what I'm going to call them!

Would you just look at these beauties.  I've always loved Begonias; and, now my love is re-bloomed.

My dilemma now is what to pair them with in the flower boxes below. I don't want anything that will compete with them ..... only enhance their striking color.

The climbing hydrangea will be a nice accompaniment as it blooms its spray of white flowers.

They look like origami flowers. I feel like I could pick them off their stems and let them fly through the air. Not me though.  I'm not touching them.  I know when to back off.

A view from above ...

I love when I can catch a shot like this.
Reason being ...it makes me stop ... and think ...

... about looking at things from a different vantage point.

And the fact that depending on our "perch"...

and our needs ...

we see what our minds eye lets us see.

Personally, I would like to soar like a  bird for a day; but, can you imagine the size camera I would need!

Starfish or cacti?

At a glance, it's hard to tell what these might be.
The beautiful colors of starfish are similar to those of the cacti.

I love the twists and turns and random growth patterns.

My vote is:
withered up starfish in a bowl of dirt!

Got to admit ... it's original!

A view from both sides.

As I was getting ready to walk out the door for my first meeting of the day, I went over to my home desk and happened to look out the window.  I couldn't help but take a moment to enjoy the texture ... color and beauty (at least I think it is) of my front yard.

Naturally, I then heard my camera calling me ... so that tonight, I could share the view with you.

Now you can see it from the outside ... complete with the window I was shooting from.  Hope you enjoyed the view from both sides!

Multipules .....

The same thing happening multiple times is interesting.

The same flower in a sequence of four provides the beauty multiple times
and
there is a comfort in the repetition.

And, when new flowers are added to the mix, it becomes exciting in a new way.
It's like twins.

J, J, J, J & K, M, P & M - this one's for you!
XOXO
