Evening Tripping ... along Lake Ontario.

Never to disappoint, Kent Park Arboretum is a must as a wandering start point !

The Magnolia tree was dancing in the wind, gracefully strutting her garb.

Not to be outdone, the Redbud sported a smaller but equally magnificent array of flowers.
Glancing thru the gazebo was the surprise of almost fall like color created by the spring rebirth.

Not far down the road, a new dance was taking place. The dance of the apple trees.

Arriving just a little before dinner time, we wandered Sodus Point to see the flooding that is taking place and expected to continue into June. Water, water and more water ... and in places that shouldn't have water. Sandbags were stacked up everywhere ... along the shoreline and on palettes in driveways, ready to be deployed.

It shows no mercy and leaves people to become creative against its will.

After a delicious meal, we head back home. Back thru the apple orchards.

                                                    Past the beautiful parks.

Appreciating and thinking about the history. ... the beauty .... the peacefulness.

Past the farm with baby donkeys for sale ....

To home ... and a moment to take in some garden thoughts .... from the primroses from my dad's gardens in Saranac Lake.

To my "Roo" who greets me every day by my front door. Ahhhhh ...!

Mt Marcy ... a little off the beaten path.

Driving back towards Lake Placid after visiting Mt VanHovenburg Bobsled run, I glanced over my left shoulder and noticed that Mt Marcy was out of the clouds! Not one to miss what I would consider a good photo shoot, I found the next driveway, turned the SUV around, apologized to the others who were with me, and headed to the mountain.

In a matter of minutes, I was pulled over to the side of the road and happily snapping away.

Although the wind was howling and the snow was dancing across the fields and whipping over the snowbanks, my fingers refused to let the cold slow them down from clicking the camera.

The power and magnificence radiates from her presence.

Back in the car, I couldn't help but want to get closer to her. And, I just knew that there was another photo op by the beautiful red barn.

After a mile of really rough road, I decided it was time to turn back and head out.
It's hard to stop looking ... I think this is Avalanche Pass.
Good-bye to one heck of a magnificent mountain.  You take my breath away. Please take care of my black glove. It was well worth the sacrifice of losing it. Guess it was my way of leaving a little piece of me in the mountains I love.

Moravian Pottery and Tile Works ... Doylestown, Bucks County, PA

STOP THE CAR!

My brain was instantly on overload to capture this all cement and beautiful  architecture!

Everything is cement, walls, roof ... I wish I could have taken a picture of the rest rooms for you!
We've driven by so many times; each time saying .. we need to stop there. This time, we made it happen. This beautiful building sits on acres of lovely land, nestled into one of the most beautiful and interesting areas to explore.

And, as my good luck would have it, there is a tile store ... of their beautiful works!

Trying to capture so much of the detailed beauty, I had a hard time deciding on just what piece needed to go home with me this trip.

But, decide I did.  This is just the beginning!
