Curiosity

 I'm a naturally curious soul. That curiosity sets my imagine on fire and I end up with a "need to know" happening in my brain. That's a tough spot because often I don't get answers. Darn! But today, I am sharing one of those experiences with you.

Walking through the town of Sturbridge,MA, I discover this beautiful old historic building. Everything about it oozes history ... and, more to the story.

I want to walk down its paths, climb over the stone walls, walk through the doors, peer in the windows, and experience its history. I want to talk to the people who lived there, see the children playing on the grounds.

You just know there is a story. There has to be. I wish I knew that story as I expect it would be deep and soulful. 

I could just sit for hours and recreate in my head what I think that story would be.

A WNY gem!

A sunny, bright, warm day was an invitation to hop in the car and head west .... to places unknown.

As it happened, we noticed a sign for Hurd Orchard's in Holly, New York. Wait, that's on the bucket list for the fall.  This stop is a "must do" and I will simply let the pictures tell the story.  Enjoy!!

 We ate the most delicous meal in a most beautiful setting!

We shopped, wandered and enjoyed the beauty.

The people who worked there made us feel like special guests.

I came home with ideas ... ideas and more ideas.
