Multipules .....

The same thing happening multiple times is interesting.

The same flower in a sequence of four provides the beauty multiple times 

and

 there is a comfort in the repetition.

And, when new flowers are added to the mix, it becomes exciting in a new way.
It's like twins.

Not just another pretty face!

 I love the mix of textures.

And, the colors.

What an eye-catching greeter at the Buffalo, NY Botanical Gardens.

What a GREAT color scheme!

I am in love with this color scheme!!!! Grey, yellow and pink/purple. 

My God ..... I am captivated by this combination.

It was only by chance that I found this flower.  I had made one pass through the Buffalo Conservatory and thought ...... I better make one more pass through , just in case there is something I missed.

And .... there sure was ..... this magnificent Hibiscus was just waiting for me to discover it's breathtaking beauty!  Thank God for dumb luck!

I turned around ......

Somehow, I don't think Bob Dylan was thinking about daffodils blowing in the wind when he wrote that song!

But, you might just find some answers if you take the time to quiet your mind and enjoy nature.

 I feel like I'm watching little beings popping up out of the greens, 

dancing around, 

playing in the sun

 and being a little bit shy.

And, sneaking up behind them, 

I am so tempted to go ...... Boo!

Can't you just see them jumping in the air and running off?

With the warm-up group so exciting, who can deny the excitement of waiting for the  the main act!

More denial ....

Another day of April showers.  No .... another day of pouring rain and flooding water. But,  I looked out the window and the grass was greening right in front of my eyes!

So, I will supplement Mother Nature's lack of  cooperating with the sun, with more flowers in my kitchen. (I'm going broke making up for her nasty mood!) However, tomorrow I am headed out with my camera regardless of the soggy, squishy sounds that were emerging from my footsteps today.

In denial!

I refuse .... simply refuse .... to allow the fact that everything between Rochester and Buffalo (except for the roads) was covered in ice all day long.

Hey ... Mother Nature .... it's spring and I want to enjoy the flowers pushing through the dirt and the buds blooming on the trees.

 Oh well, for now, I will just have to enjoy some flowers on my window sill.

But .... tomorrow .... things better change! April showers bring May flowers  ... right? Not sure what flooding rains bring.  Mother Nature .... she is a feisty one !
