Never to disappoint, Kent Park Arboretum is a must as a wandering start point !
The Magnolia tree was dancing in the wind, gracefully strutting her garb.
Not to be outdone, the Redbud sported a smaller but equally magnificent array of flowers.
Glancing thru the gazebo was the surprise of almost fall like color created by the spring rebirth.
Not far down the road, a new dance was taking place. The dance of the apple trees.
Arriving just a little before dinner time, we wandered Sodus Point to see the flooding that is taking place and expected to continue into June. Water, water and more water ... and in places that shouldn't have water. Sandbags were stacked up everywhere ... along the shoreline and on palettes in driveways, ready to be deployed.
It shows no mercy and leaves people to become creative against its will.
After a delicious meal, we head back home. Back thru the apple orchards.
Past the beautiful parks.
Past the farm with baby donkeys for sale ....
To home ... and a moment to take in some garden thoughts .... from the primroses from my dad's gardens in Saranac Lake.
To my "Roo" who greets me every day by my front door. Ahhhhh ...!
