Touring High Falls
A little bit more of Rochester, NY. The bridge spans the Genesee River. Entering the bridge, the scene on the right is of High Falls and on the left is the river. Strikingly different, both are examples of the "changing faces' of the Genesee River.
Ok, time to leave here and head to the Lower Falls ....

Rochester NY, there is so much to like about you!
Our new bridge spans both sides of the Genesee River. In the spring, or at times of heavy rainfall, the waters are roaring through this section. Today, because we are feeling the drought, it's a lazy river, with water life and in some sections, kayaks. Oh, by the way, this river flows north!

From Mercury tonight to High Falls tomorrow night...... so much to enjoy and fascinating stories to listen to.

Right in the heart of Rochester NY ....
..... sits the most beautiful water falls. This is just a glimpse of what we enjoyed yesterday during our morning of playing tourist in our hometown. What I will share in the next few days will show you some of Rochester, strutting her stuff!
So, so beautiful!

The quiet, peaceful moment ....
...... to reflect ......
..... to drift ......
... to nourish ......
.... to rest ......
.... to embrace the light from within.

Standing on the edge of the rocks with rushing water going by must be the dare devil side for ducks. I thought the next scene was watching them get washed away!
And, just a few pieces of sculpture gracing the skyline.
